- Grease is delivered to the aluminum collar via a high pressure grease pump at pressure of up to5,500 psi.
- Cast-aluminum collar (9.5 Kg) contains Polyurethane seals with multiple grooves which allow the lubricant (Clareguard GRL) to penetrate to the wire rope core.
- Aluminum scraper plates at each end of the collar to protect seals and remove excess old lubricant from wire rope crown.
- Wire rope lubricant application is adjusted via air control valve which adjusts grease pump speed.
